We’re here to listen, support, and help you find the care that feels right. Contact Home away from Home to ask a question, chat about your needs, or get started with our services.
We keep things small on purpose — never more than two participants at a time so every bit of care is tailored to your needs. With over 20 years of hands-on experience and qualifications across aged care, disability, mental health, and community services, you’ll always be supported by someone who knows what they’re doing and genuinely cares.
No two people are the same and neither is the support we offer. Whether it’s building confidence, managing daily tasks, or simply having someone reliable by your side, we’re here to help you work towards what matters to you.
Care is provided your way, in your home or ours, depending on what suits you best. Contact Home away from Home today to discuss what we can help you achieve.
You can expect a calm, welcoming environment where you’re treated with care and respect. Our respite home is fully equipped for comfort and safety, with no more than two participants at a time, so everything feels more personal. You’ll have access to home-cooked meals prepared by our qualified chef, activities tailored to your interests, and one-on-one support when needed. It’s a space where you can relax, recharge, and feel at ease while still enjoying your routine and independence.
That depends on what you enjoy! We plan community outings around your interests and comfort level; from local markets and cafes to the cinema, parks, or local attractions. We also support you with everyday errands like grocery shopping or attending events. It’s all about getting out and enjoying the world in a way that feels right for you. Contact Home away from Home and let’s discuss what activities you are interested in.
Yes, absolutely. We can help you get to healthcare appointments, visit family or friends, do your shopping, or run general errands. Our transport support is flexible and designed to make your day easier, not more stressful.
We take the time to get to know you from your interests and energy levels to your goals and any support needs. From there, we suggest activities that suit you, whether that’s crafts, cooking, photography, swimming, gardening, or something else entirely. You’re always free to try something new or stick with what you love.
We keep things small, relaxed, and genuine. Our respite home isn’t a big, busy facility. We only support up to two participants at a time, so you get individual attention without the overwhelm. You’ll be cared for by someone with real experience and heart, and we’ll always respect your space, your preferences, and your routine.
In-home care means we come to you — helping out with daily tasks, personal care, or whatever you need while you stay in your own home. Respite care, on the other hand, is when you come to stay with us in our comfortable respite home.
Both options include personalised support, meals, and activities, it just depends where you feel most comfortable at the time.
Personalised in-home and respite care with a focus on comfort, connection, and your individual needs.
